| Bio: | Happy and partnered and living in Victoria on Vancouver Island. I’ve worked on greenhouse gas emission reduction projects and policy development for the last 8 years. We’ve been funded by some of Canada’s major emitters who have used us, among others, to explore how they might operate in a carbon-constrained future. I work with interesting people from all over and get to do it from home. The work is intellectually challenging and ever-changing. In short, a blast Previously, I worked for the Vancouver City Planning Commission, a citizen advisory body to Council on long-range planning issues. I’m fascinated by cities, how they develop and change, and how they enhance the lives of their residents. I’m interested in architecture, too, but mostly in how it creates positive space to live in as opposed to stylistic expression. I’ve also always been interested in environmental issues and attended the Faculty of Environmental Studies at York University in the early 70’s. | |||||
